Cambodian Minister of Post and Telecommunications H.E. Chea Vandeth has toured the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) exhibition and held bilateral talks with leading tech enterprises to explore collaboration in cutting-edge technology.
Following official high-level meetings, Minister Chea Vandeth, accompanied by a delegation of technical experts and ministry officials, visited the World Expo Exhibition and Convention Centre in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China. The visit aimed to gain firsthand insights into the latest breakthroughs in artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging global market trends.
During the exhibition tour, the Cambodian delegation visited the pavilions of Chinese tech giants – including Huawei, ZTE, China Telecom, and Alibaba – to engage in strategic discussions on infrastructure development.
The tech companies showcased their latest innovations in AI hardware, specialised computing infrastructure, operating systems, cloud computing platforms, and advanced AI development frameworks. These next-generation solutions feature enhanced capabilities and higher processing speeds specifically designed to meet the growing demands of the global AI era.
Minister Chea Vandeth encouraged technical teams from all sides to foster closer collaboration to accelerate joint technological initiatives and strengthen digital cooperation moving forward.
The World Artificial Intelligence Conference is being held in Shanghai from July 17 to 20.
