Cambodian Delegation with Medical Supplies Departs for Laos


A Cambodian delegation led by Samdech Pichey Sena Tea Banh, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister the National Defence, is bringing medical supplies to Laos.

The five-member delegation departed Phnom Penh International Airport this morning on a special flight.

The Cambodian delegation included H.E. Dr. Youk Sambath, Secretary of State, Ministry of Health, H.E. Sok Sam Ang, Director General of Administration and Finance, Ministry of Health, H.E. Chea Vanna, Assistant to Samdech Tea Banh, and Dr. Sung Vintak, Director of International Relations, Ministry of Health.

The delegation will be welcomed upon their arrival in Vientiane by H.E. Thongloun Sisoulith, Prime Minister of Laos. As scheduled, they will return home on the same day.

Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has recently announced to donate facemasks and some medical supplies to Laos in contribution to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, following their phone conversation.

The donation include 2,000,000 facemasks, 100,000 fabric facemasks, 20,000 masks N95, 20,000 goggles, 20,000 PPE sets, 500 units of intra temperature manual check, 20,000 face shields, 20 ventilator machines for ICU Set, 20 patient monitors+accessories model: Vista 120, 500 containers (25kg each) of ChloramineB Powder, 1,000 sets of safety plastic boots PR, and 2,000 units of hand liquid soap.
