Cambodian PM Sends A Letter Of Appreciation To Director Of Institute Pasteur Du Cambodge


Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has extended thanks to Dr. Laurence BARIL, MD, MPH, PhD, Director of the Institute Pasteur du Cambodge for her support for the testing for COVID-19 of those coming in contact with the Nov. 3 Event.

“I am writing this letter of appreciation to thank you and your esteemed team of the Institute Pasteur du Cambodge for the kind assistance they have rendered in support of the testing for COVID-19, in close collaboration with the Ministry of Health, on Cambodian government officials, including myself, and all the people who have direct and indirect contact with the 3rd November’s Event. This truly manifested your strong commitment to work with the Royal Government of Cambodia to overcome this unprecedented global crisis,” wrote Samdech Techo Hun Sen in his letter dated Nov. 19.

“Despite the fact that the cases of COVID-19 are soaring across the region and the world, I am confident that with the strong support of the Institute Pasteur du Cambodge, under your wise leadership, Cambodia would be able to get through this global common threat,” he added.

“Once again, on behalf of the Royal Government of Cambodia, I wish to express my sincere appreciation to you and the Institute Pasteur du Cambodge for the tireless efforts and constant supports provided to the relevant Cambodian authorities in fighting with this global pandemic for the well-being of Cambodian people as a whole,” concluded the Cambodian Premier.
