Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, this morning announced to fully reopen the country in all domains, starting from Nov. 1, 2021.
The Premier made the announcement while he was presiding over the closing ceremony of the national COVID-19 vaccination campaign for the age group of 6 years old and above (1st dose) and the launching ceremony of the vaccination campaign for children aged 5, at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh.
From now on, we need to learn to live with COVID-19 pandemic in the New Normal, he underlined.
Samdech Techo Prime Minister said nearly a month after Pchum Ben holiday, considered as a big test for the country’s reopening plan, the number of new infections of COVID-19 dropped notably.
According to the Ministry of Health’s press release, only 91 new cases of COVID-19 were reported this morning, of which 16 were imported.
