Cambodian-Thai Armies Sign ToR for Collaboration


The Royal Cambodian Army and Royal Thai Army signed here yesterday the Terms of Reference (ToR) for their collaboration to further strengthen and expand their bilateral ties of friendship and cooperation, as well as to boost open dialogue on topics of common interest.

H.E. Lt. Gen. Hun Manet, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) and Commander of the Royal Cambodian Army and visiting H.E. Gen. Narongpan Jittkaewtae, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Army were the signatories.

This document will be a crucial basis to pave the way for further promotion of the cooperation in all sectors under framework of the two nations’ armies.

In their bilateral meeting, Lt. Gen. Hun Manet and H.E. Gen. Narongpan Jittkaewtae spoke highly of the good relations and cooperation in all domains between the two neighbouring countries, especially in the field of military.

Both sides were also committed to build and sustain peace, stability and development in the border areas of the two countries.
