The Ministry of Environment and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) have discussed solutions for sustainable solid waste and wastewater management in Cambodia.
The discussion took place here on Wednesday between Minister of Environment H.E. Say Samal and Mr. Hyunjun Rho, Director of KOICA Cambodia Office.
H.E. Say Samal spoke highly of the close cooperation between the ministry and KOICA, particularly in environment protection.
He encouraged KOICA to support the establishment of the ministry’s laboratory facility, solid waste management, landfills, sewerage and water treatment systems at the sub-national level.
Mr. Hyunjun Rho thanked the minister and his team for the cooperation with KOICA so far, stressing that KOICA will consider the ministry’s proposals.
