Draft 2022-2030 Cambodia Postal Development Policy Approved


The Draft 2022-2030 Cambodia Postal Development Policy was endorsed by the cabinet ministers in their plenary meeting held here at the Peace Palace this morning, according to H.E. Phay Siphan, Minister Attached to the Prime Minister and Chairman of Royal Government Spokesperson Unit.

The policy’s vision is to develop the postal sector and postal service market to serve businesses, enterprises and the public effectively, sustainably and innovatively so as to contribute to the national socio-economic development.

The eight-chapter policy aims to strengthen and expand the provision of postal services in a comprehensive, quality, efficient, safe and reliable manner, as well as to support the diversification of postal services and the postal service businesses with the promotion of modernisation and use of digital technology to contribute to the development of e-commerce and to support Cambodia’s economic diversification.

At the same time, the cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, also approved the Draft Mid-Term Report 2021 on the Implementation of National Strategic Development Plan (NSDP) 2019-2023.
