Business Cambodia will launch its first Start-ups Expo 2022 on Oct. 29-30 to showcase creativity and innovation of young entrepreneurs and attract foreign investment.
The planned event was unveiled in a recent press conference organised in cooperation with Baksey Media and BizAdvisor.
According to Founder of Baksey Media Mr. Sam Kosal, there will be some 50 booths by successful business start-ups in different areas and the most attractive one will receive US$2,000 prize and an additional US$2,000 worth business promotion.
The event, he added, will bring together 16 prominent speakers in the industry to share their insights at its workshop focusing on new business ideas and strategies to build up business capital.
It also features other activities such as joint promotion of new products and services by booth owners, food contests, and free distribution of publications.
Mr. Mang Vandy, the founder of BizAdvisor and a major sponsor of the start-ups expo called on owners of small and medium sized enterprises to join the event to share their initiative and learn tips from experts and other businesses.
It is expected that at least 15,000 people will attend the two-day event to take place here in Phnom Penh.
