Techo Sen Koh Thom Hospital Building Construction, 80.51 Percent Completed


The new buildings of Techo Sen Koh Thom Hospital, located in Koh Thom district, Kandal province, was 80.51 percent completed as of Jan. 9, 2023.

H.E. Sun Chanthol, Senior Minister and Minister of Public Works and Transport, led an inspection visit to the construction site early this week.

Techo Sen Koh Thom Hospital is being built with the contribution of local charitable people, in collaboration with Calmette Hospital, with an estimated cost of some US$10 million, of which about US$6.2 million will be used for the construction of the buildings’ infrastructure, and some US$4-5 million for medical equipment.

Techo Sen Koh Thom Hospital Construction Project consists of three buildings of about 12,544 square metres in total and 150 beds. The construction kicked off since January 2022, and will be put into official use in the near future. Over 600,000 people living in Sa-ang, Koh Thom, Leuk Dek districts of Kandal province and Prey Kabas district of Takeo province are expected to benefit from the project.
