During the last five years, Preah Sihanouk province received 1,186 investment projects, pointed out H.E. Kuoch Chamroeun, Governor of Preah Sihanouk province at a press conference here in Phnom Penh on Feb. 15.
The Royal Government of Cambodia licensed 27 companies to invest in the province’s islands and beaches with a total capital of some US$8.9 billion
The investments in food processing industry were worth about US$1.7 million, said H.E. Kuoch Chamroeun.
H.E. Kuoch Chamroeun highlighted the province’s potentials to attract more foreign investments including trade and tourism.
All sectors in Preah Sihanouk province have been developing rapidly, especially infrastructure, industry, trade, tourism and agriculture.
