Cambodia, Japan Military Cooperative Agreement Signed


The Royal Cambodian Army and the Japan Ground Self Defence Force (JGSDF) have entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on military cooperation to bring the area to the next level.

The MoU was inked here at the Royal Cambodian Army headquarters on Wednesday between H.E. Gen. Hun Manet, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces and Commander of the Royal Cambodian Army and H.E. Gen. Yoshihide Yoshida, JGSDF Chief of Staff.

The two sides highly appreciated the bilateral cooperation, including the visit exchanges between leaders of their militaries.

H.E. Gen. Hun Manet thanked the Government and people of Japan for their continued support for the development of Cambodia.

He also spoke highly of Japan’s important role in maintaining peace and promoting development not only in Cambodia but across the region.
