Cambodian Minister of Tourism Participates in 17th International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City


A delegation of Cambodian Ministry of Tourism led by its Minister H.E. SOK Soken has been on a visit in Vietnam to participate in the 17th International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City (ITE-HCMC 2023), an annual international travel expo in the Mekong region, to be held from Sept. 6 to 9.

According to the ministry’s press release, H.E. Minister will not only be the guest of honour at the Vietnam Night event, but will also attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the ITE-HCMC 2023, visit the booths at the exposition, and showcase Cambodia’s Tourism Pavilion to Government Leaders and Tourism Ministers from around the world.

H.E. SOK Soken will also deliver a keynote address on the “Insight into Digital Transformation in Promoting International Tourism Development” at the High-Level Tourism Forum, the source added.

Through this event, Cambodia Expects to attract more international visitors to purchase its tourism products and promote the country’s potential as a leading tourism destination more widely to target markets and international markets in line with the “Visit Cambodia 2023” promotion campaign and promote Cambodia tourism as a Warm, Safe, Clean and Green Destination, underlined the press release.
