More World Leaders Send Congratulatory Messages to Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet


More and more world leaders have extended their respective heartfelt congratulations to Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet on his assumption of office as the Prime Minister of Cambodia, reaffirming their commitment to continuing to work closely with the new Royal Government of Cambodia.

“While expressing to you my certitude in the capacity of the Government of Cambodia to accomplish the desired progress during your leadership, in response to the aspirations of the Cambodian people for the prosperity and development, I avail myself of this happy opportunity to express to you our firm commitment to reinforce ties of friendship and solidarity between Algeria and Cambodia, in order to serve the common interest of the friendly peoples,” wrote H.E. Aimene BENABDERRAHMANE, Prime Minister of Algeria in his recent congratulatory message.

“The bonds between Palestine and Cambodia are long-lasting and important. I hope that under your leadership we can work together to constructively develop our bilateral relations and cooperation in the multilateral field as shared challenge to make our world a better place governed by the principles of international laws that should apply equally to all the people with no discrimination and double standards,” said H.E. Mohammad Shtayyeh, Prime Minister of the State of Palestine.

“Sri Lanka and Cambodia enjoy a long history of friendly relations based on the shared rich heritage of Theravadha Buddhism, as well as political and economic ties dating back many centuries. I am confident that Sri Lanka’s long-standing relations with Cambodia will continue to flourish in the years ahead and look forward to close cooperation with you towards this end,” wrote the President of Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, H.E. Ranil Wickremesinghe.

For his part, Indian Prime Minister H.E. Narendra Modi, also expressed his congratulations on the appointment of Samdech Thipadei as the Prime Minister of Cambodia, recalling “his immense contribution in strengthening defence cooperation between India and Cambodia.”

“New Zealand and Cambodia share a longstanding relationship, underpinned by strong people-to-people links. As a friend and enduring supporter of Cambodia’s peace and development, we are pleased to continue working with Cambodia through our ongoing development partnership,” H.E. Jonathan Kings, New Zealand Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia wrote on behalf of his government.

Other world leaders, including those of Australia, Bangladesh, Belarus, Brunei Darussalam, China, Cuba, Ghana, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Japan, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the Republic of Korea, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, the Netherlands, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovak Republic, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tunisia, Türkiye, Ukraine, Vietnam and so on as well as presidents of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the European Commission and secretaries general of the United Nations and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) have also sent their respective congratulatory messages to Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet.
