Samdech Moha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly (NA) of Cambodia, has encouraged Laos-Cambodia Friendship Association to continue disseminating the importance of bilateral relations between both countries to the younger generation.
The encouragement was made while Samdech Khuon Sudary received a courtesy call from Mr. Khambai Damlath, Chairman of Laos-Cambodia Friendship Association in Vientiane, Laos on Dec. 4.
On the occasion, Samdech Khuon Sudary recalled the good, long-lasting and historical bilateral relations between Cambodia and Laos, which contribute to enhancing security and prosperity for the people in the region and the world as people are living in uncertainty due to geopolitical tensions, climate change, epidemics, economic problems which require the strengthening of pluralism.
For his part, Mr. Khambai Damlath briefed Samdech Khuon Sudary on the Association’s activities whose priority is to boost people-to-people relation and mentioned about the cooperation with the Cambodia-Laos Friendship Association led by H.E. Gen. Neang Phat, Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence, particularly on information exchange and regular meetings.
