Cambodia, U.S. Appreciate Bilateral Cooperation


The Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior receives the outgoing U.S. Ambassador to Cambodia for a farewell meeting.

H.E. Aphi Santepundit Sar Sokha met with U.S. Ambassador H.E. Patrick Murphy on May 15 at the Ministry of Interior here in Phnom Penh.

On behalf of the Ministry of Interior, the deputy prime minister appreciated the efforts of H.E. Patrick Murphy as a diplomat with solid knowledge and experience in the Asia-Pacific region.

H.E. Sar Sokha also thanked the U.S. for its support of Cambodia’s rehabilitation and development process over the past 40 years through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

H.E. Patrick Murphy highly commented on the Ministry of Interior for its security measures and for cooperation with the U.S.

Both sides are determined to further strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation.
