Construction Expo 2024 Kicks Off in Phnom Penh


The Cambodia International Construction Industry Expo 2024 and Cambodia Constructors Association Summit, the largest annual event of its kind in the country, kicked off on Thursday in Phnom Penh, showing the current situation of the Cambodian construction sector driving innovation, sustainability, and quality standards in Cambodia’s burgeoning construction industry.

Organised by the Cambodia Constructors Association at Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre until Dec. 7, the three-day event attracted more than 120 local and international companies showcasing over 2,000 products and more than 50 services.

The event is anticipated to attract a wide range of industry stakeholders, from manufacturers and traders to investors and regulators, providing unparalleled opportunities to connect and innovate.

Attendees can expect an immersive experience, with highlights including educational workshops on construction laws, regulations, and best practices, as well as dynamic business networking sessions designed to foster collaborations and explore the latest advancements in the construction market.

Speaking at the ceremony, H.E. Say Samal, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Land Management, Urban Planning, and Construction, viewed the three-day construction exhibition as a platform to unite relevant key players in the sector to develop effectiveness and efficiency.

H.E. DPM also encouraged investors, developers, banking and financial institutions, and other stakeholders to work together to modernise and develop sustainably the construction sector in line with socio-economic development, aiming for quality, safety, and aesthetics of buildings.
