Cambodia is preparing to attend the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (AMM) Retreat in Malaysia next week, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
An internal preparatory meeting was held here this morning under the chairmanship of H.E. Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
The AMM Retreat is expected to be held on Jan. 18-19, 2025 in Langkawi, Malaysia.
This year, Malaysia assumed the ASEAN chairmanship, marking the fifth time since the bloc’s establishment in 1967.
ASEAN is an intergovernmental organisation of ten nations, including Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
