The Cambodian Ministry of Women’s Affairs and The Asia Foundation have reached a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Collaboration and Support for the Development of the National Action Plan on Women Peace and Security (NAP-WPS) Agenda in Cambodia.
The MoU was inked at the ministry on Feb. 19 by H.E. Dr. Ing Kantha Phavi, Cambodian Minister of Women’s Affairs, and Ms. Meloney C. Lindberg, Country Representative of The Asia Foundation in Cambodia.
According to the Ministry of Women’s Affairs, the project is aimed to provide technical assistance to the inclusive development of the NAP-WPS in Cambodia, and to support capacity development on WPS including through knowledge exchange and learning from other countries.
