Cambodia and Luxembourg have discussed the strengthening of their cooperation in multiple areas, especially economy, trade, tourism, and people-people exchange.
Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Guillaume Jean Joseph Marie of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, underscored the significance of enhancing the bilateral cooperation in the above-said areas during their meeting here this morning, according to the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
The Deputy Prime Minister and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince also exchanged views on regional and international issues, the source added.
After the meeting, it continued, the General Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg was signed by H.E. Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhonn and H.E. Xavier Bettel, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs, marking a significant step toward strengthening bilateral ties.
His Royal Highness Crown Prince Guillaume Jean Joseph Marie of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg arrived in Siem Reap province on Mar. 30 for a visit in Cambodia until April 2.
