Minister Appreciates WVI’s Efforts in Humanitarian Mission in Cambodia


The Minister of Cults and Religious Affairs has appreciated World Vision International’s (WVI) efforts in humanitarian missions, particularly its programmes on education and elimination of violence against women and children.

H.E. Chay Borin highlighted his appreciation during a meeting with National Director of WVI in Cambodia Mr. Janes Imanuel Ginting in Phnom Penh on April 23.

H.E. Minister also encouraged further cooperation between the government and WVI to further address social issues hindering the country’s development.

According to Mr. Janes Imanuel Ginting, the organisation has been operational in Cambodia for over 50 years, focusing on rural clean water and sanitation, education, health, and social affairs.

The National Director spoke highly of the Cambodian government’s good cooperation and guidance on its work priorities.
