The Royal Embassy of Cambodia to the Russian Federation held a meeting on June 4 with representatives from the International Diplomatic Club “Amicability” to explore opportunities for cooperation in investment, tourism, and cultural exchange.
H.E. Pich Khun Panha, Ambassador of Cambodia to the Russian Federation, was joined by Mr. Hong Samedy, the embassy’s Commercial Attaché and Ms. Sok Soboth, the embassy’s advisor, in receiving Mr. Sergey Dvoryanov, President of the International Diplomatic Club “Amicability,” and his delegation.
Mr. Dvoryanov expressed his appreciation for the warm hospitality and conveyed his interest in Cambodia’s ongoing development. He proposed organising a joint event in collaboration with the embassy to promote Russian investment in Cambodia, showcase Cambodian cultural heritage and products, and strengthen tourism ties. The event would also aim to highlight Russia’s healthcare sector and encourage Russian tourists to visit Cambodia.
In response, Ambassador Pich Khun Panha welcomed the proposal and expressed his support for the initiative. He emphasised the Royal Government of Cambodia’s ongoing efforts to improve the investment climate and promote key sectors of the national economy. The ambassador also reaffirmed Cambodia’s commitment to fostering international cultural understanding and strengthening bilateral relations.
