The National Assembly (NA) will convene the 4th Session of the 7th Legislature on Aug. 25 to discuss and approve two draft laws.
The schedule was approved during a meeting of the NA Standing Committee, held here at the NA Palace this morning under the chairmanship of its President Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary.
According to the NA, the two draft laws to be discussed next Monday are the Draft Law on the Amendment of the Law on Nationality, and the Draft Law on the Approval of the Agreement under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea on the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Marine Biological Diversity of Areas Beyond National Jurisdiction.
The two bills were proposed by the Royal Government and, on Aug. 13, 2025, the NA Standing Committee referred them to the relevant Commissions for review and report.
Following a thorough legal examination by the NA Commissions in coordination with the concerned ministries of the Royal Government, the draft laws have now been finalised and included in the agenda of the upcoming session.
