Cambodian PM to Attend 47th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits in Malaysia


Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, will lead a high-level delegation to attend the 47th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits to be held from Oct. 25 to 28, 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, at the invitation of the Honourable Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia and Chair of the 2025 ASEAN Summits.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued this morning, guided by the theme “Inclusivity and Sustainability,” the Summits will play a pivotal role in advancing ASEAN 2045: Our Shared Future, strengthening ASEAN Centrality, fostering deeper cooperation with external partners, addressing regional and global challenges towards the shared goals of peace, stability and prosperity in the region and beyond.

While in Kuala Lumpur, Samdech Thipadei will also engage in bilateral meetings with ASEAN and other world leaders to further enhance and deepen bilateral relations on matters of mutual interest and common concern.

Samdech Thipadei and the First Lady, Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet, will be accompanied by H.E. Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, along with other Deputy Prime Ministers, Senior Ministers, Ministers and senior government officials, as well as business representatives from the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce and the Cambodian Oknha Association.
