Cambodia’s First Lady Hands Over New Homes to Families of Fallen Cambodian Soldiers


First Lady Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet presided over a ceremony on Monday morning to hand over three newly constructed homes to the families of fallen soldiers in Kandal province, offering personal condolences and military family support.

The housing donations were made possible through the personal sponsorship of Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet and Dr. Pich Chanmony.

During the event, Dr. Pich Chanmony conveyed deep condolences and warm greetings on behalf of Senate President Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Cambodian Red Cross President Samdech Kittiprittpundit Bun Rany Hun Sen, and Prime Minister Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet.

She also reaffirmed the nation’s profound gratitude for the fallen soldiers’ unyielding patriotism and courageous sacrifice in service to the country.

To ease the daily living conditions of the bereaved families, Dr. Pich Chanmony also distributed relief packages provided by the Prime Minister and herself, including cash stipends, essential household items, food supplies, and key daily necessities.
