At 12:20 am, Wednesday 17 October 2018, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia, led a high-level delegation to attend 12th Asia-Europe Meeting Summit (12th ASEM Summit) in Brussels, Belgium and The Global Investment Leadership Summit of the 2018 World Investment Forum on Trade and Development, which will take place from October 22 to 24, 2018 in Geneva, Switzerland.
The 12th ASEM Summit will be held under themes “Europe and Asia: Global Partners for Global Challenges” with the purpose of strengthening dialogue and cooperation between Asia and Europe, while the two sides will work to build a common strength to address issues ranging from increased trade and investment, connectivity, sustainable development and climate change. . In the plenary session with the theme “Strengthening the Multilateral System: Promoting Asia-Europe Partnership on Global Challenges”, Samdech Techo Prime Minister will address the intervention by focusing on the theme: “The 2030 Agenda for Development Sustainable and sustainable economic growth and the environment. ”
