Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation H.E. Sok Chenda Sophea, engaged in a fruitful dialogue with H.E. Pedro ZWAHLEN, Ambassador of Switzerland to the Kingdom of Cambodia, during the latter’s courtesy call at the ministry on Oct. 10.
According to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Deputy Prime Minister expressed deep gratitude for Switzerland’s ongoing development assistance to Cambodia, while hailing the magnificent work made by Kantha Bopha Hospital for Cambodian children and women.
In response, H.E. Ambassador was impressed with the Cambodia’s rapid economic progress and reiterated Switzerland’s continued support to the development of Cambodia.
He added that the assistance is also provided in the framework of Cooperation Programme in the Mekong Region 2022-2025.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitments to further strengthen the bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries as well as within the United Nation framework.
