Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet said that higher education institutions are the key and close partners of the Royal Government of Cambodia in ensuring the human capital based on government policies.
Addressing the graduation ceremony of 561 graduates from the University of Puthisastra at Chroy Changvar International Convention and Exhibition Centre here this morning, Premier Hun Manet stressed that the higher education institutions need to ensure that the next generation of young people have the skills for the future, the resilience and ability to adapt quickly, and the ability to adapt to advances in technology and social facilities.
“In this spirit, I would like to encourage all higher educations to continue to develop both hardware and software so as to continue to get advance excellence and compete on the international stage. I would also like to encourage higher education institutions to make full use of the ecological mechanisms to support entrepreneurship established by the Royal Government to strengthen and expand the economic base of our kingdom”, he underlined.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet also took this opportunity to encourage all Cambodian students to continue research and upgrade their skills as technologies are evolving so fast. “I really want all of us to be the key actors, to think, to participate, to solve, we really want to see you as a social component as a provider rather than a beneficiary of society”, he underlined.
