The Spanish Ambassador to Cambodia has proposed to the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) to host a business forum in Cambodia to discuss investment issues and promote more Spanish investors to Cambodia.
H.E. Felipe De La Morena Casado made the request when received by H.E. Sun Chanthol, Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and CDC First Vice President here in Phnom Penh on Nov. 19.
The ambassador shared some issues faced by Spanish investors in Cambodia, noting that a business forum will help navigate the investment bottlenecks.
H.E. Sun Chanthol strongly supported the initiative, thanking the ambassador for bringing up the concerns by Spanish investors and highlighting his commitment to resolving them.
The deputy prime minister also shared with the Spanish ambassador the CDC’s fruitful investment roadshow to Spain in June 2024.
