Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received at the ministry this morning the Letter of Credence from Mr. Enrico Gaveglia, the newly appointed United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Resident Representative to the Kingdom of Cambodia.
On the occasion, Mr. Enrico Gaveglia highly commended the efforts of the Royal Government of Cambodia in promoting development across all sectors and reaffirmed UNDP’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with Cambodian line ministries to achieve sustainable development goals.
In response, H.E. Deputy Prime Minister warmly welcomed and extended congratulations to Mr. Enrico Gaveglia on his appointment as the new UNDP Resident Representative to Cambodia.
H.E. Prak Sokhonn underscored the Royal Government’s appreciation for UNDP’s contributions over the past five decades to Cambodia’s nation-building, including support in combating the COVID-19 pandemic, demining operations, and environmental and socio-economic development.
