Cambodia Reports 91 New Cases of COVID19; 30 Recovered


Cambodia reported 91 new cases of COVID19, while 30 patients recovered on Wednesday, according to the Ministry of Health’s press release dated 7 April 2021 (updated as of 10:00 a.m).

The newly infected patient is a 33-year-old Indonesian man returning from Indonesia through Singapore’s flight to Cambodia on 5 April 2021.

The other 90 are patients involved in February 20 community event. They are Cambodian and Vietnamese nationals from Takeo, Svay Rieng, Tbong Khmum, Pursat, Kampong Cham, Pailin, Prey Veng, and Phnom Penh.

To date, Cambodia has confirmed 2915 cases of COVID19 with 1824 recoveries and 22 deaths.
