The Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction issued some 6.3 million land titles to people as of November this year, and set to reach 100 percent of land registration by the year of 2023.
The figures were shared by H.E. Chea Sophara, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Land Management, Urban Planning, and Construction at the inauguration ceremony of the ministry’s new office building on Monday.
The 6.3 million land titles are equal to 90.03 percent of the target of 7 million, he said.
The ministry will continue land registration work to reach 100 percent by 2023 and ensure the safe ownership of the land to live, cultivate and invest to create jobs, income and to contribute to socio-economic development, H.E. Minister said.
