Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin, President of the National Assembly (NA) of Cambodai, has spoken highly of the cooperation between Cambodia and Vietnam, especially between their capitals – Phnom Penh and Hanoi.
While receiving here at the NA Palace this morning a courtesy visit from H.E. Dinh Tien Dung, Political Bureau Member of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee, Samdech Heng Samrin also voiced his support for all programmes, including the visit exchange and experience sharing for the progress of the relations and cooperation between Phnom Penh and Hanoi in particular and between Cambodia and Vietnam in general.
The cooperation at all levels between both nations reflects their good brotherhood, good neighborliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive and long-lasting cooperation, underlined the NA president.
For his part, H.E. Dinh Tien Dung appreciated the rapid development of Phnom Penh capital, and Cambodia’s success in combating the COVID-19 pandemic, allowing the country to reopen in all domains.
He also wished Cambodia success in organising the commune/Sangkat council election in 2022 and the general election in 2023, and in holding the ASEAN chairmanship this year.
