Local Road in West of Phnom Penh Inaugurated


The Phnom Penh administration inaugurated Street No. 1080, stretching more than 6 kilometres long linking the Win-Win Blvd. to Street No. 42, in the west of the capital.

The inauguration ceremony of the concrete road was held on June 1 in Snor commune, Kambol district, Phnom Penh under the presidency of Municipal Governor H.E. Khuong Sreng.

The governor instructed competent forces, especially the local authorities, to take good care of the road, especially to check for overweight goods transport such as trucks transporting soil, sand and stones, which damages the road.

With a total length of 6,490 metres and a width of 12 metres, the road broken ground in November 2021, passes through Sangkat Samrong Krom, Khan Pursenchey; Sangkat Snor, Khan Kambol; and Sangkat Ponsaing, Khan Prek Pnov.

Street No. 1080 is a main road for traffic from residential areas to shopping malls, business centers, offices  … as well as for tourism and goods transport to supply Phnom Penh.
