Cambodian PM Observes Minute of Silence for Japan’s Former PM


Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has paid homage to former Japanese Prime Minister H.E. ABE Shinzo with a minute of silence.

Before delivering his opening speech of the ASEAN Para Sports Federation and SEA Games Federation (SEAGF) Council Meeting held here this morning, the Cambodian Premier asked the participants to join him in observing a moment of silence for H.E. ABE Shinzo.

Yesterday, the national flags across Cambodia have been flown at half-mast to mourn for H.E. ABE Shinzo who was assassinated on Friday last week.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen said the passing of H.E. ABE Shinzo Abe is a tragic loss, not only for the people of Japan, but also for the people around the world, including Cambodia.

Besides Samdech Techo Prime Minister, other Cambodian leaders and the general public expressed their deepest condolences for the passing of H.E. ABE Shinzo.
