Renovated Hall of Dancers at Ta Prohm Temple Inaugurated


The Hall of Dancers of Ta Prohm Temple in Siem Reap province renovated by experts from India in cooperation with APSARA National Authority was completed and opened to the public from now on.

The information was announced in a news release issued by the APSARA National Authority on Nov. 14.

The inauguration ceremony was presided over by H.E. Dr. Phoeurng Sackona, Cambodian Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, visiting H.E. Jagdeep Dhankhar, Vice-President of the Republic of India, and H.E. Dr. S. Jaishankar, Indian Minister of External Affairs.

Before the renovation, the Hall of Dancers at Ta Prohm Temple had collapsed almost completely into piles of stones.

The restoration team started their work since 2010 and completed it in 2022.
