Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Chair of ASEAN 2022, received a courtesy call by a delegation of ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting Plus (ADMM-Plus), on the sidelines of the 9th ADMM-Plus in Siem Reap province this morning.
H.E. Eang Sophalleth, Personal Assistant to the Prime Minister, said the delegation was led by the Honorable Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at Prime Minister’s Office of Brunei Darussalam.
In the meeting, on behalf of the ADMM-Plus, H.E. Halbi Mohd Yussof expressed his congratulations to Cambodia on the successful hosting of the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits and Related Summits as well as the ongoing ADMM, ADMM-Plus and related meetings in Siem Reap province.
For his part, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed warm welcome to all the delegates and thanked the ASEAN member countries and dialogue partners for their support for Cambodia’s ASEAN chairmanship.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen also congratulated the meeting between U.S. Secretary of Defence H.E. Lloyd J. Austin III and Chinese Defence Minister H.E. General Wei Fenghe on Tuesday in Siem Reap province.
