Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen is scheduled to conduct ten more visits to factory workers and employees after the Nation Election on July 23, 2023.
The Cambodian Premier revealed the schedule while presiding over the official inauguration ceremony of Bakheng-1 New Water Treatment Plant in Khan Chroy Changvar, Phnom Penh this morning.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen said the second round of his visit to workers and employees will be postponed during the election campaign to begin on July 1, but it will be resumed on July 27, four days after the National Election, to learn more about their well-being and to inspect the progress since the first round.
The first round took place between August 2017 and May 2019 with 77 site visits to nearly one million workers across Cambodia, during which the Prime Minister has pushed thorough necessary measures to address the workers’ issues identified.
