Samdech Kittisangahapundit Men Sam An, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Assembly-Senate Relations and Inspection, received here on June 21 a Lao delegation led by H.E. Dr. Khamphanh Phommathath, Chairman of the State Inspection Authority.
Samdech Men Sam An spoke highly of H.E. Dr. Khamphanh Phommathath’s visit to Cambodia, stressing that it is very important to exchange experience in the field of inspection and contribute to deepening the relations and cooperation between the two neighbouring countries in a comprehensive and strategic manner.
Samdech Men Sam An also briefed her guest on the role and duties of the Ministry of National Assembly-Senate Relations and Inspection.
For his part, H.E. Dr. Khamphanh Phommathath thanked Samdech Men Sam An for sharing Cambodia’s inspection-related experience, and expressed his appreciation for the rapid progress of Cambodia, especially the successful hosting of the ASEAN Summit and Related Summits in 2022 as well as the SEA Games and ASEAN Para Games in 2023.
Visiting chairman of the Lao State Inspection Authority thanked the Royal Government of Cambodia for its assistance to Laos at almost every stage, especially during the COVID-19 crisis.
