Cambodia and the Philippines are committed to further bolstering collaboration on labour and vocational training.
The commitment was made in a meeting between H.E. Heng Suor, Minister of Labour and Vocational Training, and H.E. Ms. Maria Amelita C. Aquino, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines, at the ministry early this week.
H.E. Ms. Maria Amelita C. Aquino spoke highly of Cambodia’s progress in protecting labour rights and of its effort to ensure safety for the Filipinos working in the country without discrimination.
Both sides also discussed further cooperation to promote the efficiency of the social security sector and agreed to expand cooperation in vocational training.
