Late Night Leisure Businesses Required to Pay Attention to Music Noise


Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet has called on the public, especially pubs, nightclubs, bars and other late-night leisure businesses to pay attention to noise nuisance.

Addressing a get-together with nearly 20,000 workers and employees from 13 factories and enterprises in Phnom Penh’s Khan Kambol this morning, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet reminded the night-time industry to control their music noise.

“Their license can be revoked in case they violate the legal procedures,” the Premier stressed.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet also urged for joint effort to expand good business model and to prevent harmful businesses or services.

Besides, the Prime Minister suggested the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction conducts a study and marks areas for residence, entertainment, etc.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet took the opportunity to express his appreciation to the competent authorities who have been working hard to crack down on drug and illegal gambling issues.
