JCA to Open Office in Phnom Penh in 2024

Japan-Cambodia Association (JCA) is working on opening its office in 2024 in Phnom Penh for better coordination and cooperation with the country.
The plan was revealed by H.E. Takahashi Fumiaki, President of the Japan-Cambodia Association (JCA), during his meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H.E. Sar Sokha here in Phnom Penh on Nov. 22.
The office will play a role as a central centre for coordination on communication between Japan’s small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and investment stakeholders in Cambodia, said H.E. Takahashi Fumiaki.
The JCA president continued that the JCA is attracting more Japanese professionals and high-tech SMEs to invest in Cambodia.
H.E. Sar Sokha welcomed the JCA’s plan to establish the office in Phnom Penh and the Japanese delegation’s interest in investing in Cambodia’s agriculture, tourism, and cosmetics.
The deputy prime minister congratulated the 70th anniversary of Cambodia-Japan diplomatic relations and spoke highly of the JCA’s significant contribution to promoting cooperation as well as attracting Japanese investors to invest in the country.
