Cambodia has launched its first-ever National Policy and National Strategic Plan for Migrant Health 2022–2030.
The launching ceremony took place here in Phnom Penh on Dec. 4 under the presidency of H.E. Chheang Ra, Minister of Health.
According to the minister, the National Policy and National Strategic Plan for Migrant Health 2022-2030 aim to ensure quality and equitable access to health services for Cambodian migrant workers.
It will address their economic and public health risks and contribute to achieving global health coverage.
The ministry also put forth the policy to ensure a social protection system for the workers, H.E. Minister added.
