His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, has asked the legislative and executive bodies to mobilise their forces to carry out their historic mission in the seventh legislature.

“I would like to request the legislature body and the Royal Government to unite as a whole to carry out the historic mission of the Seventh Legislature towards more glorious success for our beloved motherland on the basis of solidarity, national unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the monarch said in a royal message for the opening ceremony of the second session of the seventh legislature of National Assembly (NA) held here at the NA Palace this morning.

His Majesty the King also commended NA President Samdech Moha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary for her outstanding leadership and intelligence in fulfilling the NA’s three core functions, including legislation, legal and policy enforcement monitoring, and highly responsible representation.

At the same time, the monarch praised all the members of the seventh legislature of NA as outstanding dignitaries who have rich experience in leading the Kingdom of Cambodia towards progress, prosperity and harmony.
