Cambodia’s Minister of Tourism H.E. Huot Hak received here on Dec. 8 Mr. LI Tao, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Heilongjiang Province Maiku Information Technology Co., Ltd., discussing the potential of advanced technology in the Cambodian tourism sector.
The Chinese company presented its cutting-edge “Tourism One-Map” system, a comprehensive platform that integrates artificial intelligence (AI), big data and satellite imagery.
The above-mentioned system includes multiple functions such as images, information on tourist destinations, and displaying public facilities such as parking lots, public restrooms, hotels, with tourist flow management, security and safety systems (providing emergency exits during incidents or overcrowding), the amount of available hotel rooms, data collection from tourists from different areas, and the expense of each tourist, etc.
This application and other application for data management systems, which has been developed by the company, which is a leading firm and 1st ranking in Heilongjiang Province, are used by major provincial administrations in China, various State-owned or wholly owned-private companies, and many famous universities in China.
For his parts, H.E. HUOT Hak expressed his enthusiasm for the potential of this technology to enhance Cambodia’s tourism industry, noting the importance of this application for applying in studying tourism opening and operational costs in order to make a tour package, business plans, as well as to develop tourism planning and policies characterized by cultural, historical, natural, eco-tourism, green, clean, and smart aspects.
