Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet has affirmed that the Royal Government will introduce policies and incentive packages for investment in border areas, especially in the agro-industrial sector.
The Premier made the affirmation when he received a delegation of the Cambodian Oknha Association and the Housing Development Association of Cambodia at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh this morning.
Samdech Thipadei encouraged all local businessmen to explore more investment opportunities in the border areas.
At the same time, the Prime Minister thanked the Cambodian Oknha Association and the Housing Development Association of Cambodia for their contributions for infrastructure development along the border.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet emphasised that the construction and development of infrastructure along the border, especially the border ring road, is a historical event that not only promotes infrastructure connectivity, but also strengthens national defence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and boosts the development of the northeastern region.
