Cambodian Minister of Health has highly valued the long-standing U.S. contribution to promoting the well-being of the Cambodian people.
H.E. Prof. Cheang Ra shared the remarks in a courtesy meeting with Ms. Bridgette L. Walker, Chargé d’affaires a.i. of the United States Embassy in Cambodia, at the ministry on Wednesday.
He briefed his guest on Cambodia’s major health achievements through the support from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the U.S. Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (US-CDC), and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) of the U.S.
Ms. Bridgette L. Walker spoke highly of the progress of Cambodia’s health sector and thanked the minister for good cooperation with U.S. agencies.
