Cambodia, Saudi Arabia to Boost Bilateral Tourism Cooperation


Minister of Tourism H.E. HUOT Hak received here at the ministry on Jan. 9 a courtesy visit from H.E. Mohammed Ismaeil A. Dahlwy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Saudi Arabia to Cambodia, and his colleagues.

According to the Ministry of Tourism, the meeting focused on preparing a working group to formalise a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Cambodia’s Ministry of Tourism and the Embassy of Saudi Arabia.

H.E. Ambassador highly valued Cambodia’s progress in terms of peace, harmony, and religious freedom.

On the samde day, Minister of Tourism H.E. HUOT Hak also held talks with H.E. Anatoly BOROVIK, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Cambodia, during which the Russian diplomat praised the current political, social and good security stability in Cambodia, stressing that these factors are crucial in convincing more Russian tourists to visit Cambodia.
