The plan was discussed in a meeting on Mar. 3 chaired by H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Youth and Sports.

The establishment of the centre aims to help teachers and students use AI systems ethically and improve their teaching and learning.

Particularly, it will support teachers with their creative lesson planning for effective teaching.

H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron strongly supported the initiative and encouraged efficient alignment among primary, secondary, and higher education in integrating AI in the education curriculum.

He also highlighted the importance of orienting the AI utilisation to respond to the current and future job markets.
