The Kingdom of Cambodia and the Kingdom of Thailand have signed seven agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) aimed at deepening and expanding their mutually beneficial cooperation.
The signing ceremony took place this morning at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh, witnessed by Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, and his visiting Thai counterpart, H.E. Mrs. Paetongtarn Shinawatra, following their bilateral meeting.
The signed documents include the Agreement on the Management, Maintenance and Use of Cambodia-Thailand Friendship Bridge (Stung Bot-Ban Nong Ian); the MoU on Transboundary Environmental Pollution Cooperation; the Exchange of Notes of the Project on Strengthening the Capacity of Cambodia-Thailand Skills Development Centre; MoU on Labour Cooperation; Agreement on the Employment of Workers; Record of Discussions on Technical Assistance of the Detailed Design for the Improvement of NR57 Project; and Agreement on New Border Bridge at Phsa Prum-Ban Pakard international border.
H.E. Mrs. Paetongtarn Shinawatra and her spouse arrived in Phnom Penh earlier today for a two-day official visit to Cambodia, at the invitation of Prime Minister Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet.
The visit coincides with the celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the two Kingdoms.
