Sihanoukville Welcomes World-Class Luxury Hotel

A new luxury hotel operated by Germany-based TUI BLUE Hotels & Resorts has officially opened in Sihanoukville, Preah Sihanouk province, just in time to welcome international tourists for the upcoming Green Season.

The grand opening ceremony was held earlier this week under the presidency of H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, and H.E. Mang Sineth, Governor of Preah Sihanouk province.

In his congratulatory remarks, H.E. Huot Hak expressed his appreciation to the German hospitality group for its decision to invest in Cambodia’s growing tourism sector. He emphasised the country’s tourism potential, peace, political stability, and public order, along with the strong incentives and support provided by the Royal Government of Cambodia.

Mr. Artur Gerber, CEO of TUI BLUE Hotels & Resorts, stated that this hotel is the first of many planned investment projects in Cambodia. He cited Cambodia’s “diamond-like” tourism potential, vibrant culture, and the collaborative environment fostered by government policies as key factors in the company’s decision to expand in the Kingdom.

The launch is a direct outcome of the working meeting between the company and the Minister of Tourism during Cambodia’s participation in the Berlin International Travel Fair in March 2025.

Located in the heart of Sihanoukville, the TUI BLUE SIHANOUKVILLE hotel features 17 floors and nearly 200 rooms. It is equipped with modern amenities, including a swimming pool, conference hall, and ballroom.

TUI BLUE Hotels & Resorts is a major German tourism service provider, managing over 400 hotels and resorts worldwide under more than 10 renowned brands.
